A practical English-language guide to the Borgleden. This 190 km pilgrimage route winds its way through the beautiful cultural landscape of Østfold and Akershus, passing a rich variety of historical and cultural sights. The route starts at the Swedish border in Elgåfoss and ends in Oslo, where it connects to the Gudbrandsdalsleden towards Trondheim. Along the way, dense forests alternate with open cultural landscapes. You will pass small towns and villages and regularly come across the rugged coastline of the Oslofjord.
