My intention to publish the St.Olavsleden (Sweden) cycling guide in a few months time has been dashed by corona... The whole project will be postponed for one year. Expected publication: end of 2025.
I had originally planned to cycle small sections of the Swedish part of the route (the Norwegian part is done), but as I had some time on my hands and was tired of driving, I wanted to cycle the whole route again. It was not to be. We are now almost two weeks on, and I have neither the time nor the energy to cycle the route and I really need to. There are still some uncertainties and I went through them with the 'boss' of this route last Tuesday. With his help, and the help of test riders, I was able to complete the guide, but there are parts I have not cycled and I will keep my question marks. It doesn't feel right because I want to be able to justify it.
